The second disc of Concomitance is “Sharpen Cineon” which contains nine additional tracks where Javier Maculet continues the work from the previous album "Time Stretching" : Again there is enough variety of styles but always within the experimental electronics: ambient, electro, IDM, glitch, abstract beats and radio shortwave random noises. There are also manipulated organic sounds with the contribution of some voices and guitars.
The cover of the release, includes architectural images from the live visuals, impossible buildings thanks to dissolution techniques, overlapping and pixelization, recycling images. |

"Time Stretching" is the result of sound and visual composition of Concomitance, in which reconstructs the space-time sense, manipulating audio and video in real time, as in a "live" cinema. Impossible buildings are planned created from images from various processes, from recycling to the search for new identities. Concomitance constructs spaces from different realities, and magnifying figuration coding errors in this show of music and video electronics. |

VIDEOAKT, will present its whole 2008 selection in the Barcelona's videoart festival Loop 09 . The seventh edition of an annual meeting point for all videoart lovers from around the world. In the live "Stretching Time" from Concomitance, both audio and image are animated, looking for its time limit to distort its meaning narrative. The images come primarily from treated renders, drawings and material used in representacionesarquitectónicas, mixed with elements of nature and people. Concomitance-music is the official site of Javier Maculet - artist, composer, who lives in Barcelona (Spain).
